At Cojolya, each year marks a new chapter in the learning history of the sons and daughters of our artisans. Not only do we celebrate the achievements of those who have advanced and reached new goals, but we also welcome a new generation of students who begin their educational journey.
This 2025, the program continues to grow stronger: the majority of our beneficiaries begin their education in kindergarten and primary school. Seeing so many children take their first steps in school with Cojolya's support is a reminder of the profound and lasting impact this program has on the community. At the same time, we continue to accompany those students in middle school, with young people who are advancing in their education and one who will soon reach graduation.
Education cards: facilitating access and promoting responsibility.
This year, we have again implemented the initiative to further facilitate the educational process of our students: the delivery of personalized education cards. These cards not only allow students to access the educational resources provided by the program, but also promote their autonomy and responsibility in managing their education. Each card has been created and stamped by Cojolya, guaranteeing its authenticity and the organization's commitment to the academic development of each beneficiary child and young person.
Comprehensive and continuous support
At Cojolya, we understand that academic success depends not only on material resources, but also on constant accompaniment. That is why we continue to provide ongoing guidance and support to our students throughout their educational journey. From access to computers and internet in our facilities to academic advising, we ensure that each student has the necessary tools to successfully advance in their education.
Thank you for making this possible
The growth of this program is a reflection of the trust and generosity of our donors. Thanks to your support, each year more children and youth have the opportunity to learn, grow and build their own futures. We move forward with the certainty that education transforms lives and that, TOGETHER, we are seeding lasting changes for the artisan families of Santiago Atitlán and our community.
