Pillar of Hope: Continuing Education

By Edwin Ajuchan | Social Programs Director

Students of the Education2024 Program -Cojolya
Students of the Education2024 Program -Cojolya

On behalf of the entire Cojolya team, we would like to express our deep gratitude to those who make it possible for our education program to continue for another year. Your contribution has allowed the students, children of our talented artisans, to continue their academic training and have access to the resources necessary for their success.

This year we implemented a practical and secure process whereby each student received a unique identification card, created and stamped by the association. This card will grant them access to the local partner bookstore, where they will be able to purchase the school materials they need for their education. This initiative not only facilitates students' access to educational resources, but also promotes autonomy and responsibility in their learning process.

In addition, Cojolya will be present to offer continuous guidance and support to students throughout their educational path. From access to computers available in our facilities to academic advising, we are committed to ensuring that each student has the tools and support they need to achieve their educational goals.

Dulce, one of our students who has come hand in hand with our program, is an example of perseverance and educational growth. She is now in the diversified level, one more step in her educational formation and therefore her classes start earlier than most and at different times. She now prepares the materials for her classes and advances as much as possible with her homework to deliver it in the best way since this new stage for her is: "Discovery, growth of terms that she did not know before and double the effort, since it is a career that will prepare you for the professional world".
Another incredible news is that this year two new students are joining our program and embarking on a new path in their education at the primary level.

Together, we are changing lives and building a brighter future for the communities we serve. Thank you for being part of this journey!
