MATERNITY WARD APRIL 2026 NARRATIVE REPORT
From May 2026 to August 2026, our medical doctors consulted 324 cases, our nurses consulted 520, 164 pregnant women came for ultrasound test, 163 women came for prenatal consultation, 1548 women came for family planning methods and five babies were born at Ntaseka clinic.
Our maternity ward still needs 20,000USD for equipment.
We give our heartfelt thanks all our donors including the GlobalGiving foundation, the African Great Lakes Initiative (AGLI) of the Friends Peace Teams and the John Gould Family Foundation who have been supporting us for this important work. We would therefore invite everyone who reads this report to share it with his/her relatives or friends so that they can support this very important work.

Sensitization for young people to prevent themselves from Sexually Transmitted Infections on July 28, 2026 and August 7, 2026
“Before participating in FWA sessions, I thought sexually transmitted infections only affected certain people. Now, I know the modes of transmission, the means of prevention, and I know it’s important to consult a doctor quickly if I experience symptoms. I now feel empowered to raise awareness among my friends.”Vital, 19 years old
