FWA MATERNITY WARD OCTOBER 2022 NARRATIVE REPORT
From the month of June 2022 to August 2022, Through the GlobalGiving Foundation, FWA has received $1053, 81, including $203.57 for Ntaseka clinic maternity ward.
In the month of July, under the support of the African Great Lakes Initiative (AGLI), both the placenta and ash pits were built. The pillars of the water tank were also built.
.
Under the support of the African Great Lakes Initiative (AGLI), there was recruitment of a full time medical doctor in the month of July 2022. In the month of August 2022, under the same support from AGLI, as we have frequent water shortages, there was the installation of Ntaseka clinic water tank.
Although we still need more medical equipment for the maternity ward,
We are glad we have now started to have new babies born in Ntaseka clinic maternity ward.
We are very thankful for those who have made it happen. Therefore, we give our heartfelt thanks all our donors including the GlobalGiving foundation, the African Great Lakes Initiative (AGLI) of the Friends Peace Teams and the Canadian Friends Service Committee (CFSC). We would therefore invite everyone who reads this report to share it with his/her relatives or friends so that they can support this very important work particularly the maternity ward medical equipment.
