a) Make healthcare readily accessible and affordable to expectant mothers, children, the elderly and the local community in general. b) Pool local resources (financial, human and physical) for the establishment and running of a community based health facility. c) Creation of HIV/AIDS awareness and, where resources permit, establish a functional Voluntary, Counselling and Testing Centre within the Dispensary. d) Establish a centre for HIV/AIDS home-based care and management.
The dispensary is in progress ground breaking is done . They are doing the walls now . thanks to the community and the kisumu county office for stepping up .
The community is 100 % engaged . Many volunteers are coming on . We look for more Fundings to facilitate the awareness and supplies
