a) Make healthcare readily accessible and affordable to expectant mothers, children, the elderly and the local community in general. b) Pool local resources (financial, human and physical) for the establishment and running of a community based health facility. c) Creation of HIV/AIDS awareness and, where resources permit, establish a functional Voluntary, Counselling and Testing Centre within the Dispensary. d) Establish a centre for HIV/AIDS home-based care and management
We managed to get 52 donors in the 31 days great achievement, we collected 382 by that time and later got to a total of $504 through a WhatsApp group and involved the Maraba community Kisumu kenya Africa and Facebook friends .
In this area many young women find it so hard to get medical assistance in the most needed time . They walk many miles to get help , so die at birthing because of the difficulties involved with child birth,
Girls get trafficked some through early marriages due to lack of things like pads , need for trading on reproductive matters . HIV/AIDS awareness.
We are looking for partners to help us build the clinic provide the necessary resources to help them do better.
So far we have received $382 and we intend to use it for the girls training and provide the kits for the pregnant women to help them. All this to facilitate the local healthcare provider.
We are so humbled to GlobalGiving to provide this forum to help create mother child healthcare awareness.
Since we do not have enough funds we have been doing fundraising and creating more awareness, Looking for sponsors and partners to help us achieve the four areas of concern.
