Dear Partner,
This quarter has been full of small miracles. Thanks to your support, 130 children under five were treated at our community clinic, and an additional 1,742 were reached through our village-based MCH clinics. For many families in remote areas, this means care finally comes closer to home—where it’s needed most. You can step into our clinic and witness the hope you’ve helped create in this short video: Watch how our Community Clinic changes lives →.
We also educated 1,827 caregivers with practical lessons on nutrition, hygiene, and immunization. And 285 mothers received family planning support—helping them make informed, healthy choices for their families’ futures.
Good nutrition remained at the center of it all. This quarter, 823 children received vitamin A supplements to strengthen their immunity and protect their eyesight, while 777 children were dewormed to safeguard them from parasites that silently rob them of nutrients and slow their growth. Without these interventions, many children would continue battling fatigue, poor growth, and health complications. See how our team is tackling child malnutrition on the ground in this powerful short film: Watch “Fighting Child Malnutrition” →.
Through regular growth monitoring, we assessed 1,940 children and identified 57 cases of severe malnutrition and 117 cases of moderate malnutrition. Timely linkage to our nutrition clinic saved these little ones from potential developmental delays and life-threatening conditions—and 21 children were discharged this quarter, healthy and thriving once again.
One story that continues to inspire us is Jayden’s. When he was first brought to our clinic at just seven months old, he was weak and underweight—only 7.9 kg—and couldn’t stand. Under the care of our nutritionist, Ms. Lindah Mukami, and with the dedication of his mother, Nelly, Jayden received therapeutic food, nutrition counseling, and continuous follow-up. By June 2025, Jayden weighed 10.5 kg and was full of energy and laughter. “HopeCore didn’t just heal my son—they gave me the confidence to care for him every day,” Nelly shared. You can watch his transformation here: See Jayden’s journey → or read more about our approach to personalized child nutrition on our blog: Targeted Care for Healthy Kids →.
HopeCore’s targeted nutrition model continues to transform lives—combining personalized assessments, caregiver education, home follow-ups, and the support of Community Health Promoters who guide households during and after recovery. We’re also helping families establish and maintain kitchen gardens by providing seedlings and expert guidance—ensuring children not only recover from malnutrition but also enjoy long-term food security.
Every day, we see how small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. The progress we’ve shared this quarter is living proof of what your compassion is doing—but there are still many more Jaydens out there waiting for their chance to grow up healthy and strong. By sharing HopeCore’s story with your friends, family, or colleagues, you help widen the circle of hope—so that more children in underserved communities can receive the care they deserve. Your continued belief in this work keeps hope alive. Please continue to share our story so that more children can grow up healthy and strong.
With heartfelt gratitude,
