Once again our students have inspired our school architect and builders with their brilliant documentary films. The 'Water Sanitation' documentary conceived, filmed and produced by our students has resulted in the making of clean water wells in Sierra Leone. Below are pictures taken at the village where we are building our borehole - the people there have greeted our students' initaiative with open arms and are directing our help to maximise the benefits the new well will bring them. Using funds so very kindly donated we are able to address a very important issue - only 2% of people in Sierra Leone have unproblematic access to clean water. Our work will result in a significant improvement in the health and hygiene in the village. This is particularly important for the children there. We will publish an update as soon as the Clean Water Well is completed!
As well as the above we continue to build our Marc Bolan School Of Music and Film in Makeni nearby. Kindly visit our website for all the latest news about our students and courses they are studying. In another new development we are now offering our students studies in IT so that they can participate more fully in this computer age and share not only their projects but also the fruits of their talents online. As always, please help us with your kind donations; we still have a way to go to funding the building the rest of the school, and we are very determined to give our students the very best.
Many, many thanks.
