Vision Program
Ariela Foundation accompanies 30 pupils in an academic framework; they are students, high school and junior high students from all over Israel. The pupils are talented and unique and have the potential to stand out in a wide range of areas. The program supplies each pupil with unique and personal guidance which includes a counsellor from an academic/professional perspective, personal mentoring, professional accompaniment, enrichment through supplementary classes, scholarships, assistance in buying educational/professional materials and support based on a wide social/professional network.
The program’s school-aged pupils:
8 excelling pupils both in school and socially (from grade 7 to grade 12).
4 excelling pupils in music (2 in grade 10 who play the guitar and violin, and two in grade 7 who play the piano and the clarinet).
2 excelling students in the field of sports (1 grade 10 student is a medium distance runner and one student in grade 11 is a long distance runner).
Recent activity:
In this quarter, the pupils benefited from monthly meetings with the program coordinator, they set goals for the school year’s end and in general worked on their accomplishments. Some of the pupils set study goals for themselves, such as succeeding in their matriculation or a significant improvement in their half-year marks while some set goals relating to their specific field of excellence, such as participation in a national or international running competition. The students will continue to achieve these goals. In this quarter, a new pupil joined us, her name is Aznash, Aznash is an excelling student in grade 11 in Ulpanet Amelia in Jerusalem who participates in the group of runners “the pavers” and she is a long distance runner. Aznash participated in international championships which took place in Tiberius and in group competitions. She won third place along with her friend. Recently, Aznash also participated in a national competition. Aznazh has big ambitions in life – to be an extraordinary athlete and also be a doctor.
