 Background of the programme

This Day Care Centre was started in the year 2005 at Uthamapalayam, Theni District. This centre provides therapeutic support to children who are physically and mentally challenged. This day care centre consists of 29 children. Physiotherapy and special education are regularly given to the children. Physiotherapists help children with disabilities to develop their functional ability and life style changes.  Our Service is in the form of exercise, education, consultation, or the recommendation of adaptive devices.

  1. Special Education (Pre – Primary, Primary and Secondary)

 That every day each 45 minutes writing, reading identification of colours, shapes objects etc.,

                                    

 2. Physiotherapy

 

Every day therapist giving therapy to the needed children’s depends on the physical ability minimum 30 minutes to 45 minutes. It is very good improvement for all the needed  children’s their improvement is tremendous.

 3. Social inclusion

The Children every day spend an hour for physical activity and general, social activity. Every weekend Saturday, all the children staffs with parents playing outdoor and indoor games. Mostly the children expecting each and every Saturday for spend more time to integrate with one and each.
