The vocational training programme is very essential for the mentally challenged children up gradation of this stage. The Japan embassy has been supported for construction of training centre and purchasing of basic educational equipments. The vocational training programme is very good opportunity for mentally and physically challenged children. We are the only prime NGO implementing the programme in Theni District. The following trade selected depends on their physical and mental ability. We are sure to run the programme successfully with the support of good and efficient staff members.
This programme for the Adult intellectual persons. They are all completed secondary level education in our special schools. In our long term committement for their sustainability, we started vocational training programme in main campus. All the activities desinged by their IQ levels. Now this a second year all students have been 75% achievement for their training activities. Their parents also happy, we are sure they are all working independently or with the family members. They earn enough money for their survival. This activities supported by RTU –UK, many thanks to RTU –UK sponsors.
