Dear friends,
It’s been a busy few weeks for The Man Who Built Peace project team, preparing for the London premiere event and the following regional tour. But we are buoyed on by the enthusiasm and support we encounter, and are looking forward to a successful launch.
We would love you to join us at the premiere on June 7th at the Royal Geographic Society, Kensington, Yo can order tickets at https://manwhobuiltpeace.eventbrite.co.uk
We are now partnering with a number of organisations, including Seeds for Development, The Next Century Foundation, The Mustardseed Trust, The Guerrand-Hermès Foundation for Peace, Educational Advancement Foundation, Tearfund and Quantum Sobriety.
The key note address will be delivered by Fatima Zaman, a young leader for the Kofi Annan Foundation Extremely Together Initiative. Read our interview with her in Changemakers www.changemakersmagazine.org/extremely-together
We are also holding a screening in Parliament on June 5th, hosted by the Duke of Montrose with an introduction by Carolyn Hayman OBE. This is an opportunity for us to reach a different audience, and put peace building and conflict resolution in the minds of those working in politics.
More good news - The Man Who Built Peace has won The Global Independent Film Awards as Best Documentary for 2018; another award to add to the collection.
