Mama Rescue Project Update

Brick by Brick’s Babies and Mothers Alive (BAMA) Program is continuing its pre-implementation activities in preparation for our launch of the Mama Rescue Project before the close of 2019. These activities include the following:

On-going meetings with Rakai and Kyotera District health administration to ensure full engagement as partners in the Mama Rescue Project
Outreach to local taxi driver associations who will be key partners in this project
On-going planning meetings with our IT partner Yo Uganda to continue adaptations to our proven mobile phone technology
Meetings with MTN Uganda to strengthen partnership and ensure in-kind donation of mobile phone services
Meetings with Dining for Women, whose grant award of $50,000 will be received in September/October of this year allowing program launch.
