The holiday season is very important at Cedar Village. The staff does their best to grant wishes and bring each resident joy for the holidays. Each year during the holiday season at Cedar Village, gifts are given from Cedar Village to each healthcare resident. The Resident Life Department asks each resident what they would like as a Chanukah or Christmas gift. Then, a staff member shops for the gifts. From candy, to a book, to a fleece jacket, to a Cincinnati Reds street sign to hang on their wall, each gift is wrapped, labeled, and delivered by dedicated volunteers. The residents are always delighted to see their holiday wishes granted, and those who request an item of clothing can be seen proudly wearing their new clothes. Your donation will help continue this meaningful tradition.
This project will fulfill special wishes, dreams, and hopes of seniors living in a healthcare/retirement community. At the end of their lives, we strive to make their dreams come true and improve lives.
