At Cedar Village, we like to make dreams come true. Jane came to Cedar Village for rehabilitation following a stroke. She is a younger woman than some of our other stroke victims and her goal, as well as the goal of our therapists was to return home to live as normal a life as possible with her family. Jane’s speech therapist made a request for a special voice app for Jane’s IPod – a “Touch Chat” to help her communicate when she returned home. This app was vital because Jane has apraxia and had trouble communicating. We were able to grant Jane’s (and her therapist’s) wish to aid her communication skills. Your donation will help make dreams come true for patients like Jane.
