Cedar Village has created a fund to make wishes come true for our residents including each resident living in the Health Care Center receiving a special holiday gift. Gifts were distributed by volunteers during Hanukkah and on Mitzvah Day.
We had seven volunteers, juniors and seniors from Mason High School who came right to Cedar Village after finishing their exams for the semester, for wrapping the gifts. Those gifts were then distributed to the residents throughout Cedar Village.
One volunteer said, “I really enjoyed going into each room and visiting with the residents and passing out the gifts to the residents individually. They really enjoyed receiving a new blanket, a necklace, a new sweater or a new hat.”
