Over the last three months, our dedicated team has continued working full-steam to make all our material available to you in our beautiful, new, content-rich format. That means moving 6,600 articles from their old format in our archive section to the new format and structure of the main sections – no small feat! But the whole team has faced this challenge with amazing energy and enthusiasm. I am delighted to report that we are now two-thirds of the way through the task!
But that’s not all. Let me share with you what we have accomplished during these three months. We have:
The most exciting development is that we have established a program of co-operation with the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia. The work of the Center is to develop curriculums and programs of SEE Learning (Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning), based on universal values. These programs are for implementation in K-12 classes, as well as in higher education. We shall be abbreviating and preparing some of their material for presentation on the Internet and publishing it in the Universal Values section of our website in our various languages. This will serve as a bridge to the Center’s full program. In return, the Center will evaluate the various training programs on our website that might fit their aims, such as “Developing Balanced Sensitivity,” and adapt the appropriate ones for possible inclusion in their programs.
Lots of hard work lies ahead, but with your continuing support, we will accomplish our aim of Making the Wisdom of Tibet Available to All.
