Zindagi Trust is Proud of its Graduates

By Ms Jahanara Shiraz | Head of Academics

Updates from the Field

Third batch of graduates of Paid-to-learn schools are now in Zindagi Trust’s cooperative private and government schools across Pakistan. Monitoring of the progress shows that all students are regular and their academic performance is satisfactory. One student named Arjun Maseh, who is studying in one of the north schools secured 1st position in his class. The school has acknowledged his performance through a letter of appreciation to Arjun. Zindagi Trust and its supporters are proud of their students, who are showing good academic results. Zindagi Trust thanks its supporters because without their support it would not be possible to make difference in the lives of working children of Pakistan.  Though it is a first step on the road to Mainstream Secondary Education but Zindagi Trust is confident that with motivation to work and dedication to do it right, desired results will continue to come our way.  Once again thanks to all our supporters & well-wishers.

About Arjun Maseeh

Arjun Maseeh and his five brothers and two sisters barely fit into what their poor father rents for their residence in Chah Sultan, RawalPindi. The daily wages that all the children and the father earn can hardly suffice to pay for the food and the utilities; hence education was never an option. Prior to joining Zindagi Trust School his future plan was to become a mechanic in years to come, but now he thinks that if he could continue his studies with the same zeal and enthusiasm, he would become a mechanical engineer. He is a determined young kid and believes that nothing is impossible. He is of the opinion that with hard work and Zindagi Trust’s support for his studies he would be able to achieve his aim of life. Right now he only wants to focus on his studies.

Ms. Zubaida Tabbasum is his class teacher. She says about Arjun Maseeh that he is a confident & a bright student who gives his best in all classroom activities. His rapport with teachers and his class fellows is very good.
