Project Report | Jul 23, 2010
Our PTL Students Roll into Main Stream Education

By Mr Abdul Haque | Chief Executive Officer

Our 100 primary graduated children across Pakistan have joined mainstream secondary schools at their doorstep. This is an exciting journey for our working children and they are struggling to cope with the new environment. This project was initiated in April, 2010 and it would be too early to share case studies and the progress. Presently schools are off due to summer vacation, however, what is really encouraging about this project is the role of our children in the very new and changed environment. In the monthly report the teachers have appreciated these children who have become role model for rest of the children in their respective schools in terms of their behavior and attitude. Teachers appreciated our children due to the curiosity and a desire to learn, as against mindless repetition. A survey is underway for the upcoming graduates enrollment in the mainstream secondary schools for the second batch in March, 2011. Thanks to GlobalGiving donors for supporting us to continue noble cause with zeal & enthusiasm.

We will be back with a comprehensive update by October, 2010.

Looking forward to your continued support.
