Happy Fall to everyone,
Thank you all for your support of the Louisiana Instrument Repair Initiative. This project has been a much larger time investment than we anticipated, and we appreciate your patience. However, owing to the prolonged, complicated, and sporadic nature of this project, we have decided to suspend our Global Giving campaign indefinitely.
Any donations that have been made up to this point will be used in our continued development of the Louisiana Instrument Repair Initiative. If you want to stay informed about the Foundation's ongoing activities and efforts to protect and preserve Louisiana's musical culture, please visit our website at http://tipitinasfoundation.org.
We also invite you to join our mailing list.
We are much closer to attaining our goals than we were three months ago, but we still have a lot of ground to cover. The good news is that the end is in sight--an equipped facility and staff to process instrument donations and quickly turn them over to the waiting hands of Louisiana's youth.
Keep the music alive!
-Nathan
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
