Do Your Part, joins the people of the Philippines in thanking each of you for your support. There is still a lot of work to be done, as we are in the rebuilding and repair stages of this disaster. Along with our partners and your help 98 homes have been rebuilt to date at a cost of about $185 to $300 (U.S.) , together a goal has been set to accomplish rebuilds to another 250 houses. Survivors that had houses close to the shore have been asked to relocate more inland and volunteers have agreed to build them a house in a safer location. In other areas it has been advised for survivors to raise their houses 4 to 5 feet in order to cut back on future losses with the assistance of the volunteers.
Help is still on hand to continue the feeding of these very appreciative survivors.
Without the help of your donations, partnerships, and other fundraisers we would not be making such a humble yet worthy difference in the lives of these families. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.
