The newly-trained seamstresses have been practicing for months to advance their skills. Now their big chance has arrived. The new school year brought the need for hundreds of new school uniforms, and the ladies set off in high gear.
Working for weeks, they made shirts and shorts and book bags for the new students. This photo shows them hard at work in their workshop.
Thanks to your support for vocational training, these women now earn enough to support their families. And in turn, the fruits of their labor support the village students with fresh uniforms for the new school year. Thank you!
