Thanks to your generous donations for giving early education to rag-pickers/daily labourers children, we could collect over USD1870 till date as against target of USD7500. We are confident of raising the balance funds through your generous support and request you to champion our CAUSE, "LightUp Lives - Provide Early Edcn for 75 marginalized children" ; Besides WE WISH YOU TOO to JOIN our esteemed list of half-a-dozen regular monthly donors.
THANKS to GLOBALGIVING disbursement of over USD 1200 as on date (more are expected in this month end), we could place an order with the play equipment vendor to supply couple of playground equipment immediately, within this budget, and as we go forward, we plan to add a few more equipment out of the imminent donations.
These equipment are expected in next 2 weeks and shall be put to use by these tiny-tots who are eagerly awaiting to enjoy playing at our Child Learning Center.
Mid-day meals are being regularly served to these children; We motivate many of our associates /friends to visit us and celebrate their childrens birthdays, Christmas etc.
Last Christmas-2016, members of Rotary Club of Satellite City, Navi Mumbai with their family, celebrated Christmas with pomp at our Child Learning Center, and distributed cakes, chocolates, juices, biscuits, and gifts to our tiny-tots; in all over 110 children participated including those from the neighborhoods.
Also, our children had an AMAZING morning!!! An 81 year old woman donor, Ms Jayamma, philanthropic to the heart, celebrated her birthday amongst these children, and distributed clothes, sweets, cakes and more importantly showered her Blessings on these kids. You can see the attached photos.

These recognitions and a few others that our Non-profit has been awarded are passion-boosters to our Board members, staff, volunteers, associates etc especially in the development sector which is seldom recognised or appreciated.

Our academic year ends in third week of April and starts in early June, by which time we need to procure uniforms, school bags, shoes & socks. Your generous contributions NOW would help us gear up with timely planning and procurement of educational aids for these tiny-tots.
