Dear Donor,
The last couple of weeks we have been working hard with the community of Tuaiwatöy also known as Santa Marta, a beautiful community in the valley of Kamarata that has been in the forefront of cultural preservation in the region.
With the help of other organizations and private donors last week we inaugurated the Santa Marta Cultural Center in memory of Álvaro Talayero.
This cultural center is set to become the epicenter of the kamarakotan culture and tradition in the community, serving as a classroom for many young children and community members but also as a place to receive tourists and visitors to discover the wonderful culture of the Pemon Tribe.
This center is in dire need of a clean energy solution in order to live to its fullest potential.
Can we count on you to make this happen?
