CKA’s landmark publication The National Korean American Community: Promises, Perils, and Paradoxes, authored by esteemed political scientist Dr. Taeku Lee of UC Berkeley, is preparing for its second iteration. With the rising visibility of Korean American presence on the national stage, it is imperative that we provide national and local leaders with data to help identify Korean Americans’ critical needs and priorities.
The report is an important resource for CKA members and events which include CKA’s upcoming 30th anniversary of 1992 SAIGU in Koreatown - Los Angeles and various leadership conferences and events. Moreover, it is currently a part of CKA’s membership onboarding process where new or potential members can educate themselves on the national state of the Korean American community.
On behalf of the Council of Korean Americans, we sincerely thank you again for your generosity as we continue this necessary effort. We hope that you will continue to invest in the future of the Korean American community.
