Lifetools for 60 adolescents of Chiapas, Mexico

Thanks to the support of the donors of the project "Lifetools for 30 adolescents from Chiapas, Mexico" with GlobalGiving we were able to contribute to the reduction of school dropout and school insertion or reinsertion, in the reduction of child labor and exploitation and the risk that it implies the work on the streets of San Cristóbal de Las Casas of the beneficiary population (30 adolescents) who live in belts of high social marginalization in peripheral areas of the city and with a high rate of violence and criminal presence, improving their living conditions that saw its decline and forced them to work on the streets due to the impact of the pandemic. The project is improving the integral development of 30 male and female adolescents, along with their families and their quality of life, providing each direct beneficiary with a nutritious breakfast and tools through workshops and training so that they appropriate their human rights. and they may be in a position to demand them, as well as provide them with education, training and school support that prevented them from dropping out of school and contributed to their reintegration into school, especially in a scenario of greater vulnerabilities caused by the covid19 pandemic. The donations received in this project allow 30 adolescents to be trained professionally to be able to access better living conditions and a decent working future by doing their internships in our bakery "Los Sueños" which has the objective of providing a professional experience adolescents and put into practice what they have learned in the bakery and marketing classes in Chantiik, knowing the basics of how to run a business and how daily activities are organized such as the distribution of tasks, customer service, room management, cleaning , production. The daily delivery of snacks and nutritious breakfasts is guaranteed to 30 adolescents who took the workshops at Chantiik Taj Tajinkutik AC, to provide them with a healthy and nutritious diet that contributes to their integral development and supports the economy of their families. We managed to get local companies to recognize the work of Chantiik Taj Tajinkutik as a civil society organization that works for the rights of girls, boys and adolescents, integrating a portfolio of moral and physical companies that contribute to accepting our beneficiaries over 15 years of age. to experience an internship.
