The lifesaving intervention project which was launched in 2019 is one our ambitious projects over the past few years. Through this project, we have impacted thousands of lives and we are working to do more with you generous support.
This year, we planned to train 200 additional home health volunteers and distribute at least 1000 clean birth kits across rural communities in Gombe, Taraba, Yobe and Plateau states. Even though we are yet to achieve our fundraising goal this year, however I am excited to see the level of commitment and passion from you and all our donors.
With the generous donations we have recieved from you since January, 2023, we are hoping to launch this year's training and birth kits distribution in the coming month (November) where about 100 home health volunteers (birth attendants) will be trained and more than 200 clean birth kits will be procured and distributed to support 200 pregnant women to safely deliver in a clean and healthy environment supervised by a skilled attendant or in a health facility.
We are therefore, appealing to all of you to continue to support this cause and spread the fundraising campaign in order to save more women and their new born babies in Nigeria.
