Dear friends,

I wish to sincerely thank you for your continuous support and commitment to this project. It is a great pleasure for me to update you on the progress of this project. As stated in my previous report, the phase-2 of this project which is establishing a well-equipped community-based lifesaving maternity facility and water supply to support the community to easily access high quality care at an affordable cost. The water supply project is aimed at providing access to safe and drinkable water to the community. The water supply project has been completed and the community has started using it. The facility which is planned to provide high quality patient-centered care at the rural community to ensure easy access to high quality and affordable healthcare is still under construction. The comprehensive service package includes but not limited to basic emergency obstetric and newborn care, pre and postnatal care, family planning services, routine immunizations, management of minor ailments, and simple diagnostic services.
This facility will operate as a social enterprising maternity facility established to provide access to quality maternal care in under-served, hard-to-reach and rural communities. The facility is designed to support pregnant women and under-five children in rural communities to access quality healthcare before, during and after delivery at a subsidized cost.

Furthermore, the completion of this health facility is expected by the end of November, 2023 when it will be ready for use.
I am kindly requesting for your continuous support on this important project as we thrive to reach one community at a time with the goal of eliminating barriers to quality healthcare access in hard-to-reach, and remote communities. With your continuous and tireless support, we hope to continue to support access to quality healthcare in remote communities.
