The lifesaving Intervention project started early this year. Since then, we have trained 200 home health volunteers (birth attendants) on birth preparedness and complication readiness. We have distributed 400 birth kits to pregnant women which means we have successfully delivered over 400 babies with zero complication.
Despite COVID-19 challenges, we are able to sustain the implementation of this project. In the 3rd quarter of this year, we have started to scale this project to new communities in Gombe state. Distribution now is ongoing in 3 additional communities and we have so far trained 30 home health volunteers and distributed 100 birth kits.
We are pleased with the continuous support for this project by you and we are confident that our of saving 1000 women will be met. We are counting on your support to meet our goal as we have distributed 400 kits already.
On behalf of Rural Health Mission Nigeria, I like to thank you for believing in our cause.

Best Regards
