After 2 years of school closures and online sessions, our students (and teachers!) are on back in school again! The months of May and June were spent in ensuring that we hired the right techers and that they were well trained. Teachers received 30 hours of training which, besides others, included the following topics: (1) Leadership Framework, Theory of Change and Logic Model (2) Experiential Learning and 6-year "leadership through football" curriculum (3) Build Maya Session structure and execution (4) Facilitation and classroom management (5) Student Assessments and differentiated teaching etc. Schools were onboarded and student sign-ups completed. Lego material was also purchased to ensure high quality session outcomes.
Today, 500+ early adolescents across India are undergoing our Build Maya training. Your valuable contributions help support 260 of these leaders. In the first few months back in sessions, our young student leaders have learnt to work in groups, solve simple to complex problems and present their solutions. They are doing their best and working hard as teams.
Your valued contributions are helping these young children without the means realise that they too can dream and achieve them!
Thank you for your contiued support!
