Life-Saving Spinal Surgery

By Kajubi Jimmy | Project Leader

Dear Donors

The beneficiary continues to face a very difficult recovery period following a serious spinal injury. His condition remains fragile, and movement is still extremely difficult. The injury has greatly affected his ability to carry out normal daily activities, leaving him dependent on support from others.

Today, the community and Karitas Relief Mission team continue to stand with him as he waits for the medical care needed to address the spinal injury. He requires continued medical monitoring and specialist attention while preparations for the next stage of treatment continue.

Despite the challenges, the beneficiary remains surrounded by people who are encouraging him and helping with his daily needs. Karitas Relief Mission continues to follow his situation closely and communicate with those supporting his care.

Current Situation

- Movement remains very limited because of the spinal injury.

- The beneficiary continues to require assistance with daily activities.

- Medical monitoring remains important while awaiting further treatment.

- The community continues to provide encouragement and practical support.

- Karitas Relief Mission is continuing to follow the case and advocate for the medical care required.

Challenges

The severity of the spinal injury makes recovery difficult and requires specialized medical attention. The waiting period is also emotionally and physically challenging for the beneficiary and those caring for him.

Next Steps

The priority remains ensuring that the beneficiary receives the necessary specialist assessment and spinal treatment. Karitas Relief Mission will continue monitoring his condition and sharing appropriate updates as his medical journey progresses.

We remain grateful to everyone who continues to stand with this vulnerable beneficiary and his family during this difficult time. Every prayer, encouragement, and act of support gives hope as we continue this journey together.
