We are sharing an update on the young man at the center of this project, who sustained a serious spinal injury after a quarry accident. His injury has greatly affected his daily life and mobility, and he continues to live with the consequences of the damage to his spine. The medical team has recommended further spinal surgery, but the surgery has not yet taken place.
At present, his condition is not good, and he has been experiencing continued difficulties related to his spinal injury. This has been a challenging period for him and his family as they wait for the necessary medical intervention. Our team continues to follow his situation and support him while arrangements for the specialist treatment are being pursued.
The project remains focused on helping him access the spinal surgery and the medical care he needs. Although the treatment has been delayed, we remain committed to following his case closely and will share another update when there is significant progress, particularly when the surgery is scheduled and eventually completed. We are grateful to everyone who has followed this project and shown concern for his wellbeing.
