Every year our two libraries in Jinja join together and put on a big Christmas play/ concert for the Masese and Walakuba communities. The children re-enact the birth of Christ and sing for hours while community members wander in and out of the large tents with folding chairs and loud speakers playing Christmas music.
As Christmas is soon approaching, these little guys want to get in as much practice as possible! So they went to our librarian David’s house about an hour before the library was supposed to open to drag him to work!
David said: “These amazing kids came for me at my mother's house, demanding that I should be at the library at 8am to teach them Christmas songs and dances. We are already in the Christmas mood!”
