We have currently started 8 libraries around Uganda. One at Peace Demonstration Farm in Budulala, one in Masese 2 Danita in Jinja, another in Walakuba, another with Uganan Pearls in Nakiwadde, one with Footsteps Through Africa in Bwindi, another with Highway Community Center in Kitende, One with MUMYO in Naggalama, and another with a church in Mbale.
The children are happy, and they have something constructive to do in their leisure time. They usualy read the books, and only sometimes use them to wack other children with. The adults are happy because their children have a place to go, and the adults can stop in to take a rest from the days work, and flip through a book or two. Our librarians are happy because they are witnessing the positive response from the communities, and they are earning a stiped which can help support their families.
Our ibraries are all doing fantastic. With your continued support they will continue to do so. Thank you for that.
