In case I haven’t mentioned it lately- our librarians are AWESOME!!!!! I (Director of Grassroots Uganda) was recently invited to join a facebook group called “Grassroots Uganda community libraries.” Huh. Head scratch. This is my project but I did not make this group. Of course I joined, and our librarians in Jinja, (Peter and David) created the group and are promoting it and their work all by themselves!
I am so proud of them. I am proud that we have such dedicated young men working with us, and I am humbled that they care so much about their libraries, their communities, and their rolls as liaisons between the two.
In addition to the massive shout out to Peter and David for being so fantastic- I have included a few cute pictures of kids in the libraries. Enjoy!
