LAA has recruited Judd Swanson, an architect/anthropologist for research dealing with how people in various African nations historically hold and pass on information, what kind of an approach would honor those traditions, how those trends differ in regionally, and how that affect the concept of a ʻlibraryʼ.
Mr. Swanson is a graduate student in his final semester at the Rice University School of Architecture and received a undergraduate degree from Grinnell College, where as an anthropology student hw lived and worked in Cameroon.
