On May 30, 2010 we were most honored to arrive at the graduation ceremony of cycle 7 of the THINK Rehabilitation Home. We are grateful to donors from Global Giving for supporting us with funding. We were very proud to present our 24 graduates from 7 of the 15 counties in Liberia. Remember them in your prayers as they step out in faith to begin a second chance in life.
We want to remember 10 year-old Mina Hallowanger, who made the jewelry that I wore that day. She lost her battle with AIDS on February 27, 2010. Mina was a resident at our Juvenile Transit Center. We pray that a cure can be found for AIDS in the near future.
We were most honored to have Madam Katumu Boikai (VP of Liberia''s wife) to speak words of encouragement to the graduates. Nigerian movie star, Tonto, who happened to be in the country, also graced us with her presence.
Please take a minute to view the images from the graduation. As you can see, this was truly a blessed occasion.
