While our volunteers remain committed to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community in Lebanon, GEM currently has no active emergency assistance services in the country due to a lack of funding. Our efforts are now focused on mobilizing new resources so that we can resume and strengthen our emergency response.
More than a year after the latest escalation of conflict, its impact on LGBTQIA+ people in Lebanon remains significant. Many community members who were displaced or lost their homes have still not been able to rebuild their lives and continue to face serious economic, housing, and protection challenges.
Your donations were used to provide life-saving emergency support, including shelter, food assistance, and relocation support for LGBTQIA+ people displaced by the war.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this campaign. Your support enabled GEM to respond during a critical period and provide direct assistance to community members facing displacement and insecurity.
