Sensitize a child about the danger of drugs

Letsemacomserve has received a great opportunity from GlobalGiving for the first time in 2025 month of July. we are excited to report that our project was almost complete. LTM is grateful for the funding and the project managed to help 100 plus comminity members to a safe space of attending programs that are verry active on daily basis. Men from the organization and few woman volunteered to offer help in building the center that was funded by GlobalGiving.

We have built a huge center to accomodate 100 people and also an office with the kitchen to prepare nutritious meal for people who attend the programs , mostly the children. The building was not completely covered however we have managed to work to the roof top. We are only left with plastering and working on completion. 

LTM hosted and still hosting events and drugfree programes in the safe space. This building made a huge inpact to the community since people are coming in numbers to learn about the danger of drugs, Cancer Awarenes, Men's Dialogues and Woman issues as well. it has attracted the comunity after realising that it is a safe space to attend programs. We have changed a lot of people's lifes, Managed to help atleast 15 youth members to get employment.

Our areas are full of drug addicts and we are giving eductation to the users about the danger of drugs and sensitizing the Non addict about the danger of using drugs and alcohol. Preparing nutritious meal on weekends has also made a great inpact in the community, we are no longer seeing a child go to bed with an emty stomack.We are providng young children with a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn and develop important skills that will prepare them for future academic activities in a fun and engaging way.
