Because of our wonderful donors and sponsors, we are now able to provide fresh, homecooked meals to over 500 children every single school day from Monday through Saturday! THAT'S where the SMILES really start!
Every doctor and dentist who visits the Live and Learn in Kenya Education Center in Nakuru, Kenya is astounded at the health and well-being of our students. Normally children living in the desolate slums of Nakuru, Kenya do not have the shining-with-health smiles on their faces that our children have. It is of course impossible to feed all of the children of Nakuru - but knowing that the over 500 children on the Live and Learn in Kenya International program receive healthy and nutritious meals makes it how obvious it is that "nothing (and nobody) is just a drop in the sea".
We have made it our responsibility to give the LLK Kids everything that they need - including healthy breakfasts and lunches - to keep them attentive and active at school - and always have a reason to SMILE!
