I am reaching you at this uncertain time that still faces every country across the globe. We hope that we could live as just befor the pandemic.
I kindly inform you that, there are at least 1,300 Rohingya refugees in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, enjoyed nutritious meal packages delivered Aksi Cepat Tanggap. The meal distribution will last from October 30 to the end of November.
Firdaus Guritno from ACT Foundation ground team reported that the meal packages will be distributed at five locations namely Madrasah Darussalam, Camp 01 Kutupalong, Madrasah Darul Islam, Camp 04 Kutupalong, Balukhali Camp 09, Balukhali Camp 11, and Thaingkhali Camp 19.
“The meal packages are cooked by the refugee volunteers and partners. There is also a team in charge of distributing the packages to the residential areas. Rohingya refugees rarely consumed meat because they are economically weak. They depend solely on humanitarian aid,”
According to sources, there are approximately 860,000 Rohingyas in camps in Cox's Bazar, which is considered to be the world’s largest refugee settlement. Some 150,000 Rohingyas also live in other countries in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia and Indonesia. Around 600,000 Rohingyas stay in Myanmar, some live in camps set up by the government in Rakhine State.
