As SHAKTI Organisation has been working on various aspects of child rights since 2011 like child protection, child rescue, child trafficking, providing educational support to the needy children, vocational training supports to the youth and children, we had proposed a project for supporting educational materials to the needy girl students.
The project's cost was of $6,591 and out of that $184 is raised till now. So, in the first phase, we have supported 53 needy girl students with 5 notebooks each to a total of 265 notebooks with the received financial support. In the 2nd phase, we have supported 60 notebooks to 12 girl students with 5 no.of notebooks.
In the 3rd phase, we could be able to distribute 33 notebooks to another 11 students.
The follow up is going on and the students are very much happy as the notebooks became useful for them. We are still trying to mobilise funds from other sources.
Gratification: We are very much thankful to the donors who have supported this programme and encourages girls education.
