Thank you for saving elders from starvation

By Dr.Vincent Paul B | Director

Dear Donor,

86 year old kanakamma story is one of resilience, rehabilitation and faith. Widowed at an young age kanakamma spent her youth working as a farm labourer and domestic worker. Over time, with no family of her own and age taking a toll on her body, her situation was getting terrible.

Our staff found out about kanakamma, helped her gradually regain her vitality and mobility.

She said “ I was living in great poverty without even clothes to wear. I was constantly sick always in pain. My parents too died early, leaving me with a debt to repay. My life was constant struggle. By the grace of God and the dedicated staff that looks after us, I have everything I need now. This place makes me happy”.

CHHASE is reaching elders who need it most and our programs, care and support takes many forms. We show it in everyday moments of connection, providing free and accessible healthcare, mobility assistance and so much more. These support restore not just comfort, but also confident and dignity.

With our promise of assurance, they feel that someone is watching out for them. A reminder that even in the hardest seasons, elders are not alone. Thank you for being a constant source of care in elders lives.

Because of your generous support, we are able to provide nutritious food to the neglected elders. We are able to distribute Sarees, blankets, milk, fruits, biscuits to our old age home and neglected elders. Our neglected elders feel that they are no more neglected, feel they have someone to help them because of the services we offer. They all are happy and healthy and they conveyed their thanks to you and also they said that they are remembering you in their prayers to live long happily.

Want to make a difference in a poor neglected women’s  life? You can start a monthly recurring donation for a small amount. The amount accumulated will be used against caring elders without starvation, clothes and free issue of bed sheets etc to a neglected elder !

CHHASEthanking all our monthly recurring donors. Such donations are our strength and it is pushing our projects to success.

We would love to hear your feedback, comments & Suggestion on our program.

Best Wishes,

Team CHHASE India.....
