The recent escalation of attacks on Lebanon has displaced thousands of families, many of whom have sought refuge in collective shelters and overcrowded communities. Having fled their homes with few belongings, these families are now facing difficult living conditions and a severe lack of essential household items needed for safe and dignified shelter.
Among the most vulnerable are children, the elderly, and individuals with chronic health conditions, whose well-being is increasingly at risk due to inadequate sleeping arrangements and limited access to basic shelter materials.
In response, Jafra has launched an urgent intervention for shelters in Beirut area, focusing on the distribution of mattresses and essential shelter items to displaced and vulnerable families. This initiative aims to improve living conditions, provide comfort and protection, and help restore dignity to those enduring the hardships of displacement and uncertainty.
