We are so grateful to all who help support the Learning Center Program. We were able to visit 9 Learning Centers to share our knowledge with all the people who were able to attend, including sewing, baking, beauty, jewelry, cooking and English classes for children.
We resumed monthly meetings in the Managua office, the leaders share their activities along with their plans for 2024, we have also implemented painting workshops as part of all the meetings with the objective to provide encouragement.
Zaraina commented, “Meetings are important and they help us grow, learn and share, we must take advantage of this productive exchange. We from Puerto Cabezas come from so far away, which is why we cannot always be in meetings.”
The pressotherapy program exists to provide care for patients with burns, varicose veins, breast cancer and now also several patients with amputations who have requested special compression garments. In total the 1st two months of 2024, 90 patients were attended and 180 garments custom made for people in need.
