We have had some sad news this week at VALUES. Dave Woolman, a great friend and supporter of the project, sadly passed away last week after his battle with cancer. Dave was an important part of Voluntary Action LeicesterShire, managing the IT department and was always around to help when we needed him. Outside of his great professional help he was always a friendly face to all who used VALUES and would go out of his way to make sure he stopped and had a chat with whoever was about. His daughter, Emma, volunteered with us, helping to teach filming and stop motion production. True to the nature of the man he was, Dave very kindly said that at his funeral he doesn’t want any flowers but for people to instead donate to VALUES and the money to go towards the next VALUES holiday. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Dave.
