A new challenge for you and Scott!

By Mikaela Paterson | VALUES Team Manager

Send Scott on the adventure of his life
Send Scott on the adventure of his life

Can you believe its been a whole year since we started our first Crowd funding challenge, where you helped 12 VALUES clients experience a supported holiday with friends?

Well its time for a new challenge! We wanted you to be the first to know that we are starting to raise money for our 2017 holiday. This time we want to do something a bit different.

Scott has a learning disability and many health needs such as heart problems and joint problems. With several knee operations his movement is often limited and he often has to rely on his wheelchair. He’s not the only one who also faces mobility issues and physical disabilities as well as a learning disability. VALUES wants to be able to give people with disabilities the chance to experience the freedom of new ways of moving. That’s why we want to team up with the Calvert Trust to support them on a specialised supported activity holiday, giving them the chance try activities like sailing, climbing and riding.

The happiness and confidence this will bring them will be unparalleled and you can help them achieve that!

What can you do?

  • Donate again. You can give more people the pleasure that Binita, Craig, David and their friends experience from your last donation
  • Tell your friends. Challenge yourself to get 2 people to donate
  • Share tinyurl.com/scott-holiday on your social media

Thank you for your continued commitment to helping such a deserving group of people!
