Meet David, your donation will give him the holiday he dreams off.
David has volunteered for many charities in Leicester for the past 18 years since VALUES was set up, including Voluntary Action LeicesterShire. He also has a paid job at a hotel at weekends. He works tirelessly, always wanting to do his best and give to others.
When we asked David why he wants a holiday he said “I don't get a break from home or work”
David’s last holiday was 5 years ago when VALUES last had funding. Since David can’t go on holiday on his own and his main carer, his mum, died 4 years ago, he’s had no way to go away.
We asked him how it would feel going on holiday. Being a man of few words he simply jumped up and down and laughed!
So thank you on behalf of David for the chance to go on holiday.
