Dear FANmily,
Happy New Year!! Sending you peace, love, and well wishes for all of 2024. Thank you for being a continued supporter and for staying connected! It’s an honor to be in community with you and I’m excited to share that we’re starting the year off with much-needed positive vibes!
With your help, we knocked our end of year fundraising goal out of the park, helping us secure our matching contribution from the Advisory board and raising a grand total of $43,342. We’d also like to take a moment to thank our newest foundation supporters, the Lainoff Family Foundation and Sullivan Charitable Family Foundation. We’re excited about being in partnership with you all and are looking forward to learning and growing with you! Thank you all for your support! We couldn’t do this without you!
We will continue to carry the theme of centering “Black Joy” as a form of resistance for all 2024, and hope to see you celebrating with us! We’re looking forward to being in community and our main goal is to make sure our youth participants feel safe, seen, and heard! In order to do that, we as an organization need to be safe, seen, and heard! Join us in making sure you spread the joys of the good work we do. Invite friends to our events, volunteer onsite with our FANmilies, and speak up with us when we advocate as part of coalitions working behind the scenes to ensure those impacted by the child welfare system have the things they need, and out of school time programs are funded.
