What are you most proud of? Is it your house? Your garden?
For Sok, it's his new latrine.
Sok is the only member in his village who owns a latrine, setting the example, and taking sanitation into his own hands for his family. Like in any small town, any newcomers (even a latrine) stirs some interest within the community.
Sok says that he takes great pride in his latrine and the privacy it brings his wife and children. He takes great comfort in knowing that his children are safer now from illnesses, which will keep them strong and in school for years to come.
Other members of his community want those safeguards for their families, too. Help us in our vision to provide a latrine to every rural Cambodian family, so that sick kids may return to school, hospitals would be unburdened, and every parent is given the peace of mind knowing their children are safe.
To all our supporters, thank you for your generosity for the good of the Cambodian people.
